So that lasik surgery just won't work for your eyes then? Just getting the cloudy film off should be a huge improvement! My Beagle had major issues with cataracts he was blind because of them. They were caused by probably the same reason you get them. Sucks!

He's a pretty good pup. Now, if we can only survive past the puppy in him.

    mmm, oranges

j/k Had a number of surgeries on my eyes when I was young and still have eye issues. These days I am so protective of my one working eye I can barely stand to do eye drops. I feel your stress.

Agreed. I only have 1 “good” one as well. Had a spontaneous retinal detachment in HS in my right eye. They did a scleral buckle and stabilized it, but its not good enough to rely on. We are doing my bad eye first. Should be fine. Eye drops. Been doing 3 different drops 4x a day since monday. Bleh.

It's entirely possible. Might also be the tires.

I didn't initially think of that but this morning it was 28* and it came to me that the tires can also be at play. Cold tires would be stiffer.

It's easy to forget that the tires are indeed a vital part of the suspension, not just a way to grab ground. Even when you're airing down to make the ride smoother (since we tend to view it more as to get traction).

I have a wierd weather related issue, as well. In warm weather, my passenger doorlock will move, but won't move completely. IE, acts like a weak actuator, not getting the job of un/locking done.
In cold, works like a champ.

I am thinking this might just need lube. But I'd expect the issue to be 180 degrees reversed- work in warm, not in cold.

Sounds horrible. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I never understood how they do that without the person blinking. There's no way in hell I'm letting anyone with a knife near my eye. I have enough trouble putting contacts in.

To say nothing of the RK laser surgery. What happens if the person blinks, or moves their eye? I can't even do the bright flashy light eye exam, it's too bright, can't physically keep my eyes open.

If your choice is lose your vision gradually over time, or let someone cut your eye, it is an easy choice  I work with a guy that cant put his own contacts in, his wife does it for him. He’s funny. Not haha funny tho.

Tires could do it, cold grease/rubber bushings, lots of things. The nitrogen in the shocks should be relatively unaffected by the temperature, but the oil can have some noticable differences, Cold/thick oil moving through small holes.

I am the same. Tried contacts and my vision just isn't poor enough to be worth the trouble, I just couldn't do it. I just use mild reading glasses up close and accept that I also can't see super far distances clearly. I am thankful my vision is not terrible.

True true. I don't recall it ever really being an issue in any of my previous vehicles so maybe I am just being more sensitive to this truck.

Most of us are more in tune with our vehicles than others. It's a good thing as long as you can understand why things are happening and not think every new noise/feeling is a major disaster *cough cough turd genners

Good point, when you look at it that way. Pun unintentional.

The first time I put contacts in, it took the better part of 8 hours of near constant effort. After 2 hours, the doc sent me home with instructions to "practice touching your eyeball".
