I remember those days. I only did two smaller tack welds on opposing sides and it is still holding strong 42,757 miles later and much washboard in Death Valley.

I wish I had a shop. I wish I had a second double cab, this one salvaged title from being rear ended... Then I wish I lived in San Diego.

Screw San Diego. I just left there after 28 years. Had enough of the traffic and ridiculous cost of living, not to mention the even more ridiculous politics in California in general. Been living in Tucson for a month now and love it.

Yesterday morning, my Taco was dressed.

Then I made it get naked.

Today I gave the Taco a new wardrobe and got shorter than before.

This. It's an air locker, it doesn't care if you are in 2wd or 4wd.

Lived there until I was 18, been back a few times to visit family but only realized how truly terrible the traffic was when I was out in September. Where I live doesn’t have traffic, we call it traffic but it’s really just getting stuck behind an 18 wheeler on the 2 lane road for 10 minutes not being able to speed.

Thanks guys. I was goofing off doing some tokyo drift in the snow. Ended up slightly stuck. I engaged the rear locker and rocked myself out. Forgot i didnt have it in 4wd as i started driving off. So i was curious if the locker had even engaged. Good to know.

    Yes I did.

They have way way more fins then ours do decreasing the likelihood of the fins rubbing in a way that they eat away at each other till they bust

Almost sounds like a vacuum leak, is it at the top or could it be the belt adjustment pulley for the AC?
Check your Air intake box and the tube going from it to the throttle body too.

I would check the air box and tube 1st, just move around and see if the sound changes (loader, quieter) feel with your hands. Then look at the Vacuum sticker on your hood and make sure all the vacuum lines are not leaking. Then look for things that may be loose or bearings in the fan, alternator, AC, water pump. Maybe a belt slipping or a belt that is too tight causing the bearings to squeal. Its really hard for me to say listening to a video.
