    Yeah!!! I have been contemplating how to do it for a long time and came up with your exact ideas!
    I have already purchased:
    1" mild steel square tube (frame)
    1/2" square tube (supports)
    1/2" x 1/8" flat stock (shape to pipe) but I think your right, round stock will bend into all shapes better than flat stock :cheers:

    I have never built a jig before so who knows what I'll come up with? It will probably look like a bowl of spaghetti.

    They are Vibrant adapters. Amazon, etc. There are other cheaper ones that may work fine though.

    I have the same series GESi cats except with 2.5" inlet / outlet attached to my shorties. They are definitely good quality but 300 cell substrate so they're more restrictive than others at 200. IMO you can get a a better option for flow at far less $$

    These are rated 350 HP to 500 HP. I know that is a generic/broad rating, but if there is better, who makes it and how is it better. I value your input as we are all here to achieve outstanding exhaust performance.

    Yes those HP ratings attracted me to them and the fact they have a metal core built for boost applications and a warranty not offered on other cats if you're boosted. The Magnaflow that @Roostfactor recommends seems like a better deal. Metal core, better flow at 200 cell, and a fraction of the price. I don't recall the part # but I'm sure he'll chime in. Some other members are running a less expensive vibrant cat non-GESi without issues as well.

    No, its Vibrant 11619 with various orifices. Supposedly the smallest one works with the O2 sim to fix the cel issue.

    As far as I know it only the 2015 models that have the issue and the O2 sim works perfectly for the other years. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

    I'm sure that is one helluva cat and it better be for $400! I would never pay that much for a cat and I havent heard of anyone having issues with the $80ish Magnaflow 59959 cat. As @JacksonTacoma already stated it's a metal core spiral wound 200 cell cat. It is 409 stainless though not 304.
    No way I would pay 5 times the price for the Vibrant one though.

    Just make sure the j adapter is oriented upward where condensation will drain out instead of pooling at the O2 sensor. See my pics for reference.
