I believe the key difference is weather you have weapons with you or not. Leave them in the car and their shouldn't be a problem.

I'm just saying, to a fish and wildlife officer it might look a certain way. If the buck does survive he's probably going to have some unusual antlers next year. An injury to the leg typically means the opposing side antler will grow atypical

Well I went out and looked for another 5 hours this morning. No deer but I found more blood and bloody beds. He may still be alive but I contacted my neighbors just in case they find him A0CB4663-A408-4D86-93FD-495C96BE1BED.jpgA0FF26C4-1D0B-4394-B157-31408A9E4C7D.jpg B877B79D-25C2-4955-BA21-F1EE9DCC6E0A.jpg

Might have got enough penetration for one lung. A deer can go a long way and even live with only one lung.

I'm hoping the best for you, I've been in this situation and I know what you're going through, don't give up!

Tonight I let my Reign7 punch adoe tag tonight. 20yd chip shot, not the greatest placement, but it was enough for her to pile up 60yd away. She'll eat mighty fine!!

The Mathews Vertix or TX-5, anybody thinking of getting one? I keep waiting to see the price of the Triax go down.

I've seen used ones going for pretty reasonable on various archery buy/sell pages on Facebook. Also RX1s for almost half of what they were new

I’m actually considering doing this also. The Vertix is nice but I really like the shorter axle to axle. My Z7 Xtreme is a 28” also.

Nice! The only thing about that is it’s pretty much guaranteed I would still need a different cam for my short draw length which is an additional cost for the cam and to have it switched.

I thought about at least shooting the new one because they changed the grip apparently and it’s supposed to be much better. We will see.

Well I got some good news last night. My neighbor to the west of me told me that he seen the big 8 pointer I hit Monday evening.
