Don't think they do this anymore. They run uniballs instead of regular bushings, but nowhere is there options to do heims in the lowers on their site.

Gotcha. Thought you were saying there were heims allowing you to adjust the lca via them. It would be nice if people have solid mounted their lowers.

True. This is why I went with heim uppers. I plan to solid mount my lowers in the spring while the truck is down for a cage, engine cage, and anything else I decide to do while everything is torn apart.

since you guys remove inner fender liners so often is there a way to remove this close off the airbox hole in the fender, but not use a snorkel or CAI?

i would mainly just like clean ideas for the air coming from a safe spot elsewhere in the engine bay.

I modified a urd tcai for mine. Had to modify due to the intercooler for the sc causing the filter to rub otherwise the standard placement is fine.

We got my Dads TCAI to work with the TRD blower, had to order a custom filter.

That would've been another option. I went with the $10 elbow from vatozone and did this. Keeps it slightly more hidden, but the filter shield doesn't do anything anymore. Every once in a while if I'm driving during a monsoon, the truck will act up from water hitting the MAF.

People have set it up to intake air from inside the cab, or from the cabin air intake.

Depends how much water you expect to hit.

Anyone in here who has removed the inner fender liners and remounted the battery in the oem location?
Airbox, vsc system, and fuse boxes seem light enough that I shouldnt have a problem with them, but a 40lb battery is something else.
I'm removing my inner fenders next week and connecting the cab and front core support with tubes, but I'm worried about the weight of the battery and how to build something strong enough to keep it there. Not a lot of strong areas to tie into up there on these trucks.
