Haven't had that one yet, I'll have to give it a shot. I'm a fan of the multi-grain ones. Those and honey-nut are my favorites.

Meh. When I was a kid Life was categorized as 'sugar cereal' and was a non-starter with my parents. We got Cheerios, Corn Flakes, or Rice Krispies. The occasional 'sugar cereal' treat was Kix (for me) or Cinnamon Toast Crunch (for my brother)

What you gotta do is get him started at 19/20 so he can acquire the taste and appreciate a nice whisk(e)y at 21. I'd say a nice scotch but that's just my taste.

Break him in! Throw him a bottle of Oban or Lagavulin.

Or start him at 16 like I did on my own, without support from my parents :anonymous:

I've yet to try Oban, heard it is really good though.

I've tried Lagavulin and liked it, might pick up a bottle after I finish this semester.

I normally keep Oban for myself and guests. The Lagavulin normally comes out when my brother comes over and once it's open it doesn't get corked til we're done.

Oban is good. Wouldn't go too far out of your way for it . But if you're in a liquor store pick up a bottle for sure

I wasn't drinking whisky at 16, just putting vodka and rum in different kinds of soda. Oh, and a healthy amount of tequila.

I started out dumping it in cola. My dad's a whisky drinker but doesn't care much for vodka or rum, so whisky/whiskey was what I could sneak out of the liquor cabinet.

None that I enjoyed, lol. I didn't start actually liking the taste of Scotch until I was probably right around the legal drinking age.

My go-to gin drink is a Barking Dog, but I substitute bitters for the Pastis because I'm not a cheese-eating surrender monkey

I was a beer drinker. Why spend more money on something you're just going to guzzle?
