Sometimes, out of the last 6 years of wheeling I've had 2 trips with body damage. Both times I refuse to take the blame for. :)luvya:)

The first was with a group who told me to keep up or get left behind and the second I let a stranger spot me into a tree I couldn't see behind the c pillar

At the end of the day it's a 20-something year old truck. I love it but I enjoy getting out and it will never be a show vehicle so I don't sweat the little stuff

My truck is a tool that gets me to the outdoors. Sometimes tools see a little wear and tear :p

I love this forum but man sometimes y'all get a little delusional about keeping shit pristine lmao. Just look at the comments in my Detroit FS thread.

My truck has been totalled at least once by a PO so I keep the mechanical stuff in order but the body will never be clean unless I replace the cab, bed, and fenders. I don't beat my shit up but at the end of the day what happens happens

First was a group I stopped wheeling with, second was a random dude who I met on the trail.

I try and go with local TW members nowadays.

yeah anyone who is willing to leave someone behind is a tool, even if that person is a stranger. Unless said person is a mouth breather...mouth breathers should get left behind

Yeah... I've been seeing stuff like this recently and I start to reconsider what I'm doing with my truck...

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-toyota-tacoma-double-cab/

But then I look at this and think about the amount of money I'll lose on the truck by wheeling it and buying stupid parts for it... and it is so worth it.

Man wish more of you guys lived closer...I need a regular wheeling crew, most of the guys I went with all upgraded to 35s with front and rear lockers so I can't do the trails they do lol. I've tagged along a couple times but my truck being my DD I can't risk it on trails that tough that often.

I usually go out by myself now more often than not these days which of course has its inherent risks
