That makes perfect sense! Those dorks are notorious for setting the pressure to higher than it should be.

It's not uncommon for me to experience a 7-10lb pressure differential. But this is extreme "drivin on square tire" Cold. Can't see it happening down there Chad.

Meant to say *it (edited just now)

But yeah, I don't like doing things becuase my OCD I check and recheck stupid things and probably screw up things on the way.

In this specific case, I'll stick with the discount story.

Incredible how much better it rides just going from 46 to 36.

I went ahead and let a ton of air out of all the tires and refilled them all to 36 including spare.

Every year I can always look forward to my wife telling me the light is on, on her Highlander the first cold snap. Drops air pressure just enough to trigger it.

Her broom doesn’t have sensors on it! :anonymous:

Exactly, as the temps heat up, they will increase. As the temps drop they will decrease.

I will reserve my opinion for the increase 1 psi for ever 10 degrees though. I mean, if the temps out there fluctuate as widely as they do and that statement is true then if you checked them in the morning and it was 30 degrees and then by 6 pm it shot up to 80 then that's only 5 psi.

I would think too that at highways speeds the increase fluctuation should be less in the winter because while the tread is still making contact with the road surface at speed, the road surface and air flowing around the tires will be much lower helping to keep them cool.

I will have to do some tests now with my laser therm to check temp and check tire pressures. It's been bitter here the past couple of days.
