A little something every chance we get.
I remember that one. They don't have to, and won't look like that for long.
Prices will drop like crazy when a "normal vehicle" is a hybrid, and a hybrid is the "all electric".
Then, we will see. A certain elected official might have to be out of office, but the change is real. People who have never driven a hybrid cannot believe they are doing so. And there was this nut in Houston (Dr. Someone) - who put 4 300 wheel HP (IIRC) at each wheel of an old TR6. Smoke and mirrors indeed. The silent disappearing act!

The best video out there is that Tesla in Ludicrous Mode dusting that Hellcat. Now, it is hard to get used to no shifting feel but my Lex has a Sport mode and the Tree Huggin' Eco Blue display changes to Red and the Tach magically appears. It has a lot of zip for a 4 cylinder. I still laugh though when it accelerates and there is not any shift.

LOL. The Tesla they let son #1 borrow had that Ludicrous mode. He tried it. I may have to disown him. I don't think the regular one has that, thank goodness. He would NOT be able to restrain himself.
I haven't had a stick since my knees got replaced in 2008. Just because it was a pain in the knee.
I hated CV when I first got one, then, I got used to it, and I really don't know why people complain. Point and shoot driving. You drive, transmission takes care of the rest. My last Prius had a "sport" mode - I tried it leaving work one day - smoked the front tires to about 10 seconds! :der:

When a friend of mine bought a 2011 Colorado (3 years old at the time) with 14K miles on it for half of what it cost new, I was gobsmacked. He loves Chevies, but they just don’t hold their value like...just about everything else (except Dodges).

I’d never buy a new Chevy again, but a barely used one is a deal.

The only thing wrong with electric cars is the fact that they still make most of the electricity here with fossil fuels.

Unless you have solar, but yes, I agree with you. But solar and wind could help change that. And trust me, I used to have a diesel so I only have a hybrid now to save on fuel costs, but I am definitely a traditionalist.
