make your own is the best. i use the DMM (desktop multi mount), a ram ball arm (two actually), and a Hondo Perfect Phone Holder (or whatever it's called). i like my setup a lot. just don't whine about my dusty dash!

and i failed to mention that I've tried all of the different styles from magnetic to the Hondo , BT, and others and they all had some obvious fault for me until i got my setup.

I would not know other than placing my phone on the front part of the console.
I thought all models came with Bluetooth
connection now days. I use that button on the steering wheel to answer calls and try and consentrate on driving.

I use a MagBak case, I love it. It sticks to anything metal as well.

I have the Hondo in the passenger left side vent with a 6 inch and 4 inch ram ball setup. Puts my phone above the shifter and in front of the heater mode control. It works for me.

Not necessarily that position as it depends on how you position the mount.
It is not quite “fixed” but is severely limited.

Exactly! I had an Un-Holey mount, and it was great. You can adjust the vent by loosening the fasteners. It is just not something that you can do on the fly.

I second this. I have one as well.

I believe someone came up with a way to modify it or the vent to allow more articulation.

I concur with the other gentlemen...DMM is the way to go. The phone seems to be a bit shakier than if I just used the glass suction cup on the windshield but it keeps the phone off the windshield and is easier to reach. Plus you can add other items as well. I'm planning on mounting an iPad Mini with some mapping software for my next trip off the beaten path.

I’ve been thinking about this mount in the same location. If you can remember to snap a pic next time, I’d appreciate the visual

I installed a ProClip mount today, but I'm not quite sold on the positioning (so I haven't used the adhesive yet). If this doesn't work out, I'll definitely try the DMM.

(sorry for the nighttime pics...I'll try to get better shots tomorrow if anyone wants them)

    This was my Hondo setup:

    IMG_20180208_165405.jpg

It can be popped into any of the vent rings.

I appreciate that but was looking for the visual on the passenger left specifically, like a drivers eye view shot. Thanks though
