That's not bad. I spent somewhere in the ballpark of $1500

Well, it's the tax for the difference between the trade in between the 2013 and 2011. All in all, probably looking at $1.5k-$1.6k in taxes as well.

I didn't end up buying the Pelfreybuilt bumper. I believe its still listed on FB Marketplace if you're still interested.

Just bought some LED headers from vleds.com.

Received my interior/reverse/license plate LED bulbs yesterday.

/e: Damn, just replaced interior lighting and one of the map lights doesn't work. Emailed the vendor on Amazon, hopefully they'll shoot me a replacement.

Still haven't replaced the reverse lights yet. I also have 4 spare visor bulbs if anyone wants them. 2011 model doesn't have the lights on theirs.

I end up helping, or attempting to help someone who's slid off the road every winter since owning the Taco, the last attempt I didn't have anything to hook some of the smaller tow points on an older, low to the ground, sedan. What should I add to my recovery kit that would help in situations with less than desirable tow point locations? I couldn't even fit the bolt of a shackle through the small hole, nor was there any point where I could run my strap around the frame with how much the plastic splash guards on sedans cover. I was thinking, clevis hook with latch, soft shackle or a smaller shackle.

Was curious about that myself, think I'm going to buy some recovery gear here soon. Had an opportunity the other day, but I had nothing to help with other than tie downs and was in a hurry to the DMV.

Rhino Straps man. I may have a 15% off coupon code kicking around somewhere. I got the 30' 3" strap. And the Amazon review that sold it for me was a guy using it to pull a pallet out of a truck with a forklift.

    Edit: >Rhino15<

If you got a coupon code, lemme know. Maybe I get the rhino straps if can get it even cheaper.

It's very nice to try, but you can't help them all. Sometimes it isnt in the cards, offer a phone and a warm place while help comes if you can........pulled a rat rod out once.....

Got the strap + hitch. Since @Sociopenguin already gave me a shackle from the first meet I went to. Think I want to color that shackle he gave me red..

Very true. Gotta know your limits.

/e: Getting a replacement bulb. :bananadance:

FYI, don't take your vehicle in for Maintenance while sleep deprived, stressed and overworked. You will pay for stuff you could actually do on your own!
