Replaced one of these. After I got all my woodcutting done went to the car wash and noticed that when i was spraying in front of the passenger side rear tire the entire bed side moved. Took forever to find the part number, and even longer to get the bottom bolt out, but its done.

Well there's your problem. Trying to mate a real CAI to a fake one is nothing but trouble.

I have the borla, and like it’s tone a lot.
Idle is almost silent, but it opens up a bit throughout the rpm range.
It’s not extremely loud like a flowmaser or magnaflow. But the upper rpm definitely screams.

    Here’s my truck with it:
    https://youtu.be/nN0yukDGRyk
Kind of weird clips to show the sound, but it’s not a camcorder placed <1ft of the tip getting 100%wind noise:D

    M.I.A. ,
I am going to be M.I.A. from Thurs. 11-29 till Sun. night 12-02 I will be on I-95 from Jax Fl. to Fayetteville N.C. I will not be able to ship any spacers till I get back. I might throw a few in the truck if I remember and if anybody in my route needs them can meet me.
I am going to cut / chisel out my ole buddy's shop floor and put his ashes down and cement it back up. Here is the plaque I had made. Once I float it in to the new cement , it will be impossible to remove it without cutting the floor out. Sat. will be his 3 year anniversary that he passed. I know he will be happy and R.I.P.

I deal ALOT with stainless nuts and bolts and it still amazes me how they can bind together. But that is soft stainless, so it doesn't take much to marry them.

Yeah I’ve learned over the years to use some anti seize or something when assembling stainless under pressure on heat or anything generally

Yeah I did a little research this evening and luckily was able to return the rest of the bolts and nuts. In my youth, I never knew Stainless galled like that. I think I’ll give the old hardware an oil bath and just use that.

Installed my Expedition Essentials TPAM today. Turns out if you use an aftermarket stereo with aftermarket dash trim it doesn't entirely fit perfectly. So had to make some spacers in order to make sure it had good tight fitment so when the bolts where tightened it would line up correctly. Wasn't a huge deal to make, and love having a good easy place to put my phone.

Borla makes some great exhausts. How loud is it?

    Yes they are.

Those LEDs, the painted bushwacker flares, leather interior and that silver bumper trim piece is what made me decide to go with the xspx. I only paid about a grand for the package (even though it's supposed to be a $5k add on ) so it was totally worth it for me.

My wife also thought the step bars and aftermarket wheels that came with it were going to stay...she was wrong lol

    A thing or two...
Supporting the weight of the truck driving around is completely different than bashing it on a rock while wheeling. Once the arm is bent, it's structurally compromised and needs to be replaced. These help prevent that.
