I have no brand loyalty. I still own a bunch of DeWalt tools. I have owned Makita in the past. But most of my work tools are now Milwaukee. I prefer to stick to one platform for my work tools for obvious reasons. I have yet to plunk down the cash for the newest circular saw and Sawzalls, but they are game changers. Both have more power than their corded counterparts. And the Sawzalls is the first cordless model to have orbital cutting action. HooeHopef Santa is good to me.

And I hate to spoil the anticipation, but the red chainsaw beats the black and yellow. Both use a shit ton of chain oil from many reveiws I have read. Both have good power. But the bar holding knob seems to be the down fall of the DeWalt.

I kinda like my bar knob. It’s not as hefty as the big red one, but it does the job.

No issue with the chain losing tension constantly?

No. I think Dewalt corrected that from their earlier production runs. Not sure tho.

    Yup. That is sweet.

The bare tool isn’t that expensive (relatively) compared to the batteries.

Agreed, his meme game is pretty strong for a Sussex farm boy. We already know he works a computer better than our nuclear engineer friend.
