Dennis, I will try the rear wood spacer test tomorrow and see if I like. I understand some may
Think the angle may be a little different. I myself like the front of my seat raised up a bit to support
my legs. My seat felt as if the front was tilted down. I put 3-4 washers under my front 2 supports
to raise front. Was wondering if you could make 1/4 inch spacers for my fronts? The 1/2 inch may
work but might be to high for me. Thanks for your help!

Yea if you tell me how wide and tall. You want them out of 1 1/2" round stock? Or smaller ? Not sure what will fit under the front but I can make what you ask for. Thank you, let me know.

I'd be interested to see how those work out. I feel the front of the seat is a little low on my new Tacoma and think it would be more comfortable with the front raised a little.

Thanks for the pics to understand the mod. It seems like it Tilts the seat angle. I’m fairly tall standing but when sitting my 5’7” wife is taller than me so I’ve been looking for a lift while driving to better see over the hood scoop.

I guess my question is why can’t this spacer lift be done in all 4 mounts?

It’s feels better to me for the front to be lifted a little. I’ve had a few washers on the front of mine
for a while and I like it. I’ve got to measure and see if 1/4 inch spacers will work. You can take front
2 bolts out and stick something small under to see if you like.

The front seat bolts differently than the rear...look right under the front of the seat, it's angled. There's also a mod to add a 1" square tubing to the seat frame. It's fairly involved as you pull the seats out, grind the fasteners, and take the bracket off; then start adding back the square tubing spacer. It's a good mod, but there are several safety concerns with bolts shearing in an accidents.

One more thing to consider, as you raise the seat, the rear view mirror becomes a blind spot...sort of aggravating that it's positioned so low in the 3rd gen.

I am going to be M.I.A. from Thurs. 11-29 till Sun. night 12-02 I will be on I-95 from Jax Fl. to Fayetteville N.C. I will not be able to ship any spacers till I get back. I might throw a few in the truck if I remember and if anybody in my route needs them can meet me.
I am going to cut / chisel out my ole buddy's shop floor and put his ashes down and cement it back up. Here is the plaque I had made. Once I float it in to the new cement , it will be impossible to remove it without cutting the floor out. Sat. will be his 3 year anniversary that he passed. I know he will be happy and R.I.P.

Bittersweet, I'm sure he will appreciate it as he looks down.
    Nice work.
I'm sure people will understand and not expect any road trip drop offs.

I am 6'4" I put a 1" block under my seat, it felt better on my back. I am thinking maybe 1/2 " just to change the pitch. How can I order 2 sets with bolts.

@Brook Park Guy Read the quote below
Read that first quote, and look at this.
He's a stand up guy, give him a few days to complete his project and process maybe?
Then use the private message option in this forum, or email him. He will follow thru unless something ccomes up, and if it does, odds are he will let you/us know just like he did above.
