    Manual. BUt....Im convinced I can make a better intake for it. The motor is pretty choked down. 2.0, 2 stroke, with twin carbs, and only 120 hp. I wont be able to dyno it, but I have a good idea on fuel consuption at 500 rpm intervals, and WOT rpm. Right now, Im running a little bit rich thru the whole ropm range, so Im thinking if I can get more air into the engine, I should easilly get a few more hp.

    BAH!

    WEll......I need to figure out a way I can presurize the engine compartment, while being able to keep water spray out of it. Also....Seems there are restrictor plates (for lack of knowing what they really are called), on the carbs. The carb diameter seems to be about 3.5", but the inlet to them is only anout 2", or less......Im thinking about machining some new ones, and opening up the engine cowl allowing more air into the box. I need to have my buddy help me figure out where the low pressure ares around the engine reside..

    They may run it rich for oil purposes being that it's a two stroker. I'd be careful not to run it too lean or maybe lean it out and put a lower ratio or gas to oil? Or is it oil injected? If it is that's another mod that may be good. Switch it over to mix. If that pump goes it takes the motor with it. That's a popular mod for the 90's jetskis.

    If you ever replace that thing I would look at the Evinrude's. Those are some sick motors.

    Good point. No oil injection for me, Man. I mix all my gas. :) I dont trust the oil injection pump, and mixing it is peice of mind. I'll keep it running a little rich, and see if I can get more air into it, but keep the AFR the same.....
