My new one that I hate is "mansplaning".

Everytime I hear someone use that term I just hope they don't have kids or find themselfs in a terrible situation where a male with testosterone could easily handle the situation .

 

Men can no longer be men. I don't me that disrespectfully to women(b/c in my mind a man is a gentleman too), but it seems like today's tide pod eating sssholes are trying to breed that out.

 

Got a new supervisor today, the kid we were hoping for was chosen. And of course the girl who didn’t get it was pissy all night last night and banged out sick tonight.

 

I work with female welders who I enjoy working with and value . I have 4 female bosses. A female runs our side of the plant. Zero issues at all.

Try to tell a female activist you have firearms to protect your family and she says you're just mansplaning and the govt should take away all guns because there's too many shootings in Chicago.

100% of the time I've heard that term in real life it was during conversation like that.

In the age of females rightfully breaking the glass ceiling more and more every day, stay at home father's, and mental illness no longer being taboo, they need to delete that term real quick and just call it what it is; some men are assholes and disrespectful. But I don't need to apologize to anyone for being masculine.

 

I agree. I believe a woman should be able to have any job(as long as she performs the required duties for it......not a watered down version). I just have a lot of old values.....and don't plan on changin
I grew up with my dad being able to support the family without my mom having to work. She chose to stay home while I was a kid or worked as a sub teacher at my school in case I needed anything with my diabetes. She went back to work fulltime once I was around 14ish.

 

Speaking of breaking the glass ceiling, there's a COPS episode about prostitution on right now..

 

That's ok. Someone tried to shame my fiance for wanting to be a stay at home Mother someday and for me wanting to make that happen. Mind you she already has a Master's and a successful career.
