ND is a (historically) blue blood program that is taking yet another hit for not being in a conference (potentially).

 

yeah, current Top 25ers, but like only 1 of them has a decent defense (MSU), and only like 1 has a decent offense (A&M)

You should’ve seen him in HS, triple-teamed and he’d bust threw like a Caterpillar D11 bulldozer. All they could do is try running to the opposite side. One coach decided to do the old run right at Simmons trick, and Jeffery pancaked the QB, OG, & RB caused a fumble that he recovered...it was awesome. And that was 10th grade

I did, before the A&M game, and even credited that as a good win. Never said LSU was good, I did say they were overrated. Statistically they SUCKKKKK lol.

I still don't think Alabama has played a team that has both sides of the football, like Georgia seems to, or even Clemson.

Alabama's schedule was 100% softer than most of the SECs, and moreso than recent Alabama schedules too. Folks gotta quit thinking "schedule is tough just because it's SEC West", because that's not 100% true anymore.

No one gives a shit about Texas. If Texas is going to be allowed to use a hand signal in game to be cocky, then opposing teams should be allowed to give horns down.

Plenty of video available online of Texas players throwing the bird to WVU in Texas this year. Not flagged once. Horns down? Don’t pass go.

You seem to be stuck so hard on statistics. It is quite interesting that you primarily focus on statistics when as a fan of college football in general, you know that there are games where the stats simply dont matter. Specifically now with the talent dispersion across multiple levels of college football. (Think FAU or UCF or APP State...they have some really talented athletes as well as JUCO)

I dont think Alabama has played anyone that has both sides of the ball either, but there are only a few teams like that. Alabama, UGA and Clemson....After that, it drops off quickly. Alabama's schedule was softer than normal, but that isn't solely on Alabama. Games are scheduled years out, and the repeat games are definitely not Bama's fault. That fault lies squarely on THOSE TEAMS for not putting together a strong program. Alabama cant help it that UT sucks. Auburn sucks. LSU is down (on the way up I think though...needs a QB and a stable of running backs like they used to have...)

One of the reasons Alabama's schedule is softer than the rest of the SEC's is because Alabama doesn't get the luxury of scheduling...............ALABAMA. I know that seems very egotistical, but I dont mean it that way. Everyone in the west had a number 1 team on their schedule. Alabama didn't.
