    Does anyone else imagine Crodell6 is actually the dog in his avatar and is generally a good boy.

    @Jamesboy2233 :smack::smack:

    You have asked about this brake issue before shortly after drowning your truck. At that time I asked for the same thing close up photos. You had to wait for moms phone because your's was drowned also. So no pics could be provided. No pics were ever provided.

    Now you come on here and ask for help again because your brakes are on fire. Again I ask for some photo's. Instead we get a short video of smoking drums, front suspension and lower balljoint pics. Along with numerous postings about modifying your rear brakes and removing factory designed brake adjuster lever. (one of the stupidest things I've heard.) Out of thousands of 1st Gen Tacoma's and the 15+ members that post in this thread regularly your the only one with rear brakes burning up. You've had people look at it. One was an factory trained Toyota mechanic. Obviously this "Toyota guy" is missing something. Rear brakes don't self adjust to the point of fire or locking up, unless something is wrong. There's a lot people on here with Years of Tacoma experience. But yet you don't post any pics like I've asked.
    Everyone on here is happy to help but you have to help us help you.

    Shut up and post some damn pics and let us help you! If not, I don't want to hear about your rear brakes again.
    Rant over...............

    And that is rare and very hard to do.
    I can't help someone that won't let me help them after asking for help.

    Thank you for thr video. With the drum off the shoes will be moving farther then they normally would. Allowing it to adjust more then normal. That all is working as designed. I think i saw a spring missing on the shoe. Post some pics of all the hardware. Springs, retaining springs parking brake cable were it connects to the arm inside the brake assembly. Not outside were it connects. Also hook cable back up put the drum on and take pics of outside parking brake lever stop bolt.

    I for one hate drums, I prefer discs but I'm to lazy to do the swap lol. Maybe if my truck weights 5,000 pounds I would consider it.

    Can't argue with progress. Words only can go so far, unless its simple like pump starting a manual truck lol
