Our training was - if the bullets are flying, crouch down as bullets tend to hug the floor. If it's a grenade then lay flat because shrapnel flys upwards.

Good morning. This is what happens when it rains in Southern California. It’s only gonna get worse too.

 

Um Looking for a legend what are we looking at traffic jams or mud slides or ???

You know I thought of that afterwards. All the red squares are sig alerts (accidents) and the red lines are stop and go traffic. The orange/yellow are heavy traffic. One guy at work took an hour and forty five minutes to go 31 miles. This is on a freeway that has a speed limit of 65 mph. The rain just causes havoc. Actually it’s not the rain, it’s the people that don’t know how to drive in the rain. It is now even worse, mainly all red.
I hope we don’t get mudslides but unfortunately after fires when it rains that can happen. It just adds insult to injury so we can keep our fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.

It's been crazy up here in the High Desert !!!

Just got back home and most of the roads up here are flooded . One section of road I went thru had water up almost to the hubs of my wheels

This storm is nasty up here and has been since 0500hrs and just got back home from driving thru some deep water crossings of quite a few flooded roads
