Yep. During one of my first trapper visits I accidentally shot him in the chest and he died.

Came back later and he was alive. But for the rest of the game had nice chest wound that never healed.

I'm curious how they'll balance the online. With dead eye it would be way too easy for someone to pick you off at a distance.

Funny thing is when I went back the dead Grizzly was still there.

Ran thru Epilogue one and started two.

I'm at a point I might just play online. It would be a huge timesink to go back and get gold on the quests, plus identifying and skinning every animal in the game. Started the original red dead on ps3 last night but man it sucks going back to graphics like that.

I want to do a RDR play through after, but agree going back to those graphics will be a bummer. I wish they would released a remastered version for PS4. I'm only at the beginning of Chapter 3 so I have plenty of game left to decide if I want to venture online, or go the RDR route, or do a second play through.

I wish they would have remastered RDR and added it to the end of RDR2. That would have been awesome.

Not remastered but if you played a lot of RDR you will like it when you get down south. A lot of memorable things start popping up.

I was riding along side this nice fella but he wasn't very talkative.

I will just say they did a great job of re-creating what was in the first game with 1000x better graphics. If you played the first one you will know exactly where you are.

And that damn guy is still looking for Gabby.

Can't wait until I can open up that part of the map. Middle of chapter 6 now.

I was at a shack down by the San Luis River and looking over to Mexico there were 2 fellas on horseback looking back at me from top of the cliff. Pulled out my rifle and tried to scope them but they were gone.

If you had issues getting cougar pelts, the zone that opens in the epilogue is packed with them out on the western mountain chain. I got 3 perfect pelts in a row and crafted the saddle and vest.

I think the graphics for the first one are phenomenal. I don't think there's that big of difference, nothing like when they figured out how to smooth out polygons and games went from triangles to distinguishable figures.

    Yeah.
I think they were great at the time and haven't gone back to check them out, but I'm playing on a PS4 Pro in 4K with HDR -- I don't think there is any way I could go back.

I'm the same it is like the Gran Turismo series. One of the best for its time but there is no way I could go back and play GT5 or GT4 now after playing GT Sport (7)
