I’ve got stuck in some way or another with every set of tires I’ve owned

Maybe the tires don’t suck and it’s just the bad drivers that go out and rAnt on social media that give em a bad name

yeah that's a big NO for me, lol. I've had to trim a bunch for my 255's

 

I still rub on the frame, hard to trim that

same here, that's why I bought those 1/4" wheel spacers that I was going to put on a few weeks ago...but they don't leave enough threads left on my studs to safely run them. Gotta get longer studs first

 

where did you get those spacers? I've been looking for some around that size.

I should probably do something, but probably won’t

 

yeah I don't know if I want to mess with my studs...honestly the frame rubbing only happens at full lock and if my tires are deflated and then it scrubs a bit...not enough really for me to worry much. I'm more worried about how it still rubs the firewall behind the tire despite all the trimming I've done. I need to mess with the caster on my SPCs and see if I can get the wheels further forward some more.

 

Amazon has tall skinny 33’s for 17” wheel for 185$

looks like I can get generic brand for $130-150 too lol. not sure what route I'll go but my tires need to be replaced in the next year

Damn I got mine for like $230 a tire...255/85r16 though, not sure what the size difference is
