The Pro I saw here had the snorkel. I think to have one on Long Island is definitely silly.

It works great if you ever run through a puddle at the mall parking lot to get to the parking space before that Volt does.

I had to get an alignment after 12k Miles.

The steering pulled to the right very hard. It all started after I drove really at an off-road park.

I figured it was normal to need an alignment after driving around on Harsh terrain at dangerous speeds. I hope I was rignt, and this isn’t a Toyota issue.

I think that is a pretty reasonable assumption.

I was snooping around the dealership during my maintenance and saw a 2018 TRD OR with the pro grill, wheels, taillights, and Bilstein 5100s marked up almost 15k more than the stock OR next to it. Of course, they tried to get me to pay for a bunch of extra stuff too along with the maintenance

That is crazy. $15,000 for $1,500 worth of bolt ons. I will bet they had to do an alignment after those bilsteins were put in though.

You think that's bad? I had a dealer two days ago tell me explicitly they'd sell me the Pro they had in stock for MSRP but then tried to stick me for $7995 worth of "Protection Package". I literally told them to eat a bag of dicks.

The Tacoma didn’t have a wave and the snorkel looks like an arm so...

...now the Tacoma has the snorkel wave

So if you put some new OME springs in and 5100s 2" lift and the 15 months later you go into dealer and ask for alignment, they would have done it for free?

That is correct. Anytime suspension is changed, all the alignment geometry needs to be adjusted. However, once you do this, you better take it to a place that knows how to align lifted trucks, because the dealership will align it to factory specs and that's normally not where you want to be with a lifted truck. Ideal alignment numbers when stock are not the same as ideal alignment numbers once lifted.
