You may never ever have a problem, but if you did having a key would be beneficial. Don’t ask my opinion though I say manual is the only way to go as you can see by what I drive. Enjoy the auto though.

I don’t believe in paying the extra dough for the Pro (I don’t feel it is worth it at all), but I can definitely understand why someone else would. That color on the other hand is gonna be hard to not to let myself get in the OR if they put it on the other models next year. Mine will be a manual though if they are still making them that is.

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
    Okay.

We can close this thread now. :fistbump:

Im surprised guys on this site accept the push button start so readily when they all scream about the complexities of a power seat claiming how unreliable they would be and its just something else to break.

I say more electrical circuitry = more potential for things to get quirky. I’m just a simple person with my key and my manual, and my manual heater controls. Lol!!!

This is for real for me. We've had three cars with ACC. Manual is better and easier for me.

You didn’t start anything. That guy is trippin! Although... anytime you start a thread about manual or auto it always ends up being the Badasses vs. the automatic guys!!! LOL!

I kid. It’s all personal preference. I didn’t want to give up my crawl control.

I tow and use to have the auto. I monitored the trans temps and it was a constant battle to keep the temps low when towing in the mountains. Once the transmission's torque converter unlock it produces massive amounts of heat. I also had the Toyota trans cooler and an aftermarket cooler in series.

If you use the clutch properly you won't burn it out. Never had an issue backing up my 5500 lbs trailer. A Toyota clutch will last the life of the vehicle if you don't abuse it.

The service interval for an auto trans is more frequent than a manual and the auto cost more per change. If your towing you will be changing it more often.
The auto will constantly be shifting between 6th and 5th on inclines, a major annoyance that many on the forum complain about. Manual just throw it in 5th if you have to. Most manual trucks will handle inclines in 6th gear just fine.

Automatic Transmissions are for people who have someone else change their oil (like their boyfriend).

Holy shit get the manual. Fuck resale. If resale has entered your mind, you don’t love the vehicle. Manual is a lot of fun.

If you could get an F150 with a manual I would have bought one, but you can’t, so I didn’t.
