How much under sticker are you guys getting your MT Tacoma’s?

Asking because been shopping over the past week and best deal i can get is $3k off.
Was hoping for atleast 4, but since they are harder to come by, the dealers that do have em, are holding their ground.
As part of this though, have seen that you can get $5k off an auto without working too hard.

Are you guys seeing this as well?

I do have deliquencies as recent as July. But they're currently being taken off my reports, misinformation between the Education Department and their loan service. Thing is, it'll take them a while to actually get them cleared... That's why I plan on refinancing after it's all figured out. I suppose the 5.4% I'm pre-approved for isn't bad, considering the situation.

Yeah if you’re going to refi it anyways that rate won’t really matter and isn’t bad in the rate environment we are in now anyways. Rates will keep rising next year. Count on it, then recession end of next year or start of 2020. If you have cash keep it and be ready to buy back in to the real estate market. That’s my tip of the day so when you get rich throw a little change my way. Lol Sorry totally off topic lol. In any event if you’re interested in trying with us you can, I can’t say for sure how my underwriter would look at that student loan thing. He seems to be much less stringent on student loan and medical stuff but no guarantees.

Yesterday the Fed strongly hinted that they are not going to raise rates again in the near term. That's why stock market rose 600 points on that news.

You do realize people have come to that conclusion before the last three rate hikes, right? I’ve read articles each of the last three times Powell has raised rates that suggested he would slow down and then boom another rate increase. I’ll believe it when I see it, but I’m still calling my shot and if I’m wrong I’ll happily eat crow.

I went to the dealership this morning to buy a 2019 off-road access cab with the premium and technology packages (MSRP $38055). When I got there the saleswoman told me she was sorry but it sold last night. I was disappointing but used it to my advantage to buy a 2019 off-road with only the premium package, no technology package (MSRP $37285). The Tacoma was still on the delivery truck and I put mile one on the odometer with all the wrappings still on it.

Original MSRP $37285, talked down to $32800.
Out the door after taxes, fees, and title for about $1000 less than the original MSRP.

I can live with a chrome bumper for that price.

Wow thats unbelievable - $4500 off MSRP as an out the door price?
There is no way you live in CA, our taxes fees & title are about 10% of sale price.

No no, the out the door price was $1K under the MSRP. I see now that it's misleading and will edit.

Often there is a lot more that goes into what price each individual gets a truck for.

Time of the month, how long a vehicle has been sitting on the lot, hold backs, different options, different regions. All factors.

I call BS on that price. No way you got a brand new TRD OR 4x4 for 31k OTD. Even before TTL that price is too low, and it’s definitely not after TTL.
