    Well you're going to be greatly disappointed with the hunting here compared to those places :D. But really, there's good hunting here, just have to find it. Get to talking to people local to you to see what is going on and where, make friends with them and they will tell you their secrets.

    I was going to try and talk my brother in law up in virgina to let me hunt with him next year, but now that I'm separated. that just might be awkward. or painful. haha but might just try for a different state.

    One day I will. My dad has been out there a couple times on high-fence places and killed monsters, those he's not big at all on those types of hunts

    Yeah, the high fence places suck. My grandparents had a 600 acre ranch in the Texas hill country and we always hunted there.

    I'm just assuming had the OGT come from the factory with an automatic, it probably would have come with the ADD as well, since it probably would have been a true SR5 rather than a Port upgrade of a base model.

    Damn, been wanting to do this. Have 2nd granddaughter being born the 7th, 1,000 miles away, so I'll be there for a while. Been there 4 times this year enjoying the 1st granddaughter, almost know the way.

    You know there's some kind of sad irony here. I've always considered myself a Ford fan since I was a kid. I've had a lot of vehicles...a lot. The only ones I've ever regretted letting go were my Toyota trucks, my YJ, and, believe it or not, my 93 Ford Probe GT (automatic). I've never regretted letting any other Ford go.

    Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
    My brother had a 93 probe gt. His was a 5 speed and we swapped a klze motor we imported from Japan into it. It was more horse power than the US spec motor and would Rev to 7500 rpm.

    Fun car.

    Back when I had it, I was still in the young and stupid phaze. I did 120 mph across the Bayside Bridge with it trying to keep up with my two friends with Mustang GTs. I didn't, of course, but that was the fastest I'd ever driven and the car felt rock steady. It was fun, but I don't feel the need to do anything like that again. I'd rather off-road.

    I got out of fast cars when I realized just how expensive owning a fast car could be.

    For a while I had a "show" car and got out of that when I realized how much of a dick measuring contest it was and how no one really cared about anyone else's work or car only that theirs was better and how much of a pretentious asshole obsessed with perfect paint and interior I was. Still miss that car though unfortunately the 2nd owner totalled it.

    Then for a while I drove around a shitbox and hated every minute in that lifeless little Neon-fiat.

    Till I found my "unicorn" a '00 4Runner 3.4 4x4 5Speed in black. Owned that for nearly 5 years and got it in A++ mechanical but didn't off-road it much as I didn't know anything or anyone about the hobby.

    Then I got my motorcycle as I missed spirited driving, quickly realized my 4Runner was itty bitty, didn't like towing trailers much and I really wanted a pickup bed.

    Found my second Unicorn, my '10 TRD Off Road, slowly nursing her back to health and enjoying every minute of it.
