It's less Tacoma and more mod
Yall are using torque specs for a big squishy rubber gasketed cover? Just snug it up and let the FIPG set before you give it one more round of snugging. Don't over think it

Mine did (I assume everyone's does) but the OEM plastic tears pretty easily...I know mine is in bad shape after having to take my door apart several times to fix handles lol. Next time (hopefully not for awhile) I'll be doing this shower curtain mod myself

Yup, what eon_blue and TacoYankee both said. They all came with them but over the years, they can deteriorate and previous owners aren't always very careful when removing them or forget to reinstall them, which was my case on the passenger side door.

Figured out why I had no reverse lights....

The broken half stayed in the lug when I removed it. Was lucky that I was able to get it out with some needle nose pliers. New plug installed and I have reverse lights again, yay! :bananadance:

Received and installed my new tail lights while I was at it. Got them on ebay for $130, seller is vipmotoz. They come with LED reverse lights.

Paid a dude $16 to make a key for my 4runner glove box latch. Surprise surprise it was pretty similar to my truck key. Shouldve tested my truck key in it before I dropped it off lol. Works fine and I dont need to carry any extra keys. 1129182056.jpg

Yeah, not too far. Had to google maps that since I'm still learning the town. Only been here a month now.

I'm funemployed so I can hit the trails anytime! The truck is good to go, I'm just doing various thing when parts come in. I've only gone out the Wild Burro Canyon a couple times to make sure things were working. Haven't wanted to hit anything tougher without someone to go with.

I worked in IT so have been looking for work in that field still but am looking at other possibilities as well. Possibly Pima County Sheriff, they are hiring in February.

Good to know! I’ve done Wild Burro, it’s fun but there are much more technical trails close by. Definitely smart to wait for another rig before going on the tougher stuff.

Who are you getting to fab your sliders?

Waiting to hear from Andrew at Keepers Fab for a time to go over and get the measurements done for them. Hopefully it will happen soon. Need to shoot him a text on Friday if I don't hear anything by then.

You’ll be happy with his work. He did mine. Super cool guy but because of that he’s pretty busy.... and sometimes his other hobbies make him hard to connect with. I’d still tell you to wait until he can get you in.
