I was saying it the whole time sheep were freaking out about the media's latest scarefest. Glad to see some vindication.

The reason they don't catch the same shit as Toyota is because when you're #1, everyone's gunning for you. People expect domestics to be of a lower caliber, so it's no surprise when they are.

I've really been surprised at how shitty the interior of some of the domestics I've ridden in lately have been. Chintzy, flimsy materials put together with poor fitment. It's embarrassing. Everything in my Tacoma feels much more solidly constructed and bolted together.

LOL fucking faulty engines? I googled it, This is the funniest thing I've ever read:

    http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2010-06-30-toyota-faulty-engines_N.htm

Fucking "faulty engines" and the article says nothing about what the fault is? Some people reported strange noises, like fucking engines making noise is a defect? My engine happens to tick a bit while MOVING 4000LBS OF METAL (and a little sheet molded composite) TO 60 MPH IN UNDER 8 SECONDS. The TICK means it must be FAULTY.

What's faulty about them? They might break? Fuck, if that's the case the entire Chrysler lineup for the past 5 years shipped with faulty engines. Recall 'em.

Yeah, I've got some surface rust starting on my exhaust headers, they're fucking faulty now. It's like ever since the pedal thing people suddenly discovered automobiles are machines. This spins me into a new kind of pissed off I've never been in before. I've about had it up to here:

    *flat hand at eyebrow level*

With the amount of pussification that's been going on ever since 9/11. People, stop being scared of shit and start making shit scared of you.

Audi had a rash of sudden acceleration problems in the 70s or early 80s. Theirs occured from stopped vehicles and was blamed on a bad automatic transmission.
