Have to call them. If the lobe profile is not to far off from original they can use stock cams and them reharden the lobe surface.

 

Is he getting rid of some?

Adjust valve stem heights and or make up for it in valve shim thickness.
Thats what the did for me in a gm DOHC V6 3.4v6 in a 96 monte carlo.

shims? meh im going with the shimless buckets from newer toyotas. about 34% lighter than the original buckets and they dont spit shims

Then the valve stem height is adjusted.

 

Crower cams will custom grind cams also.

 

the buckets are set thickness. theyre very similar to shim under buckets. just a little lighter. no messing with stem length

 

look hard enough. its made by OTC, you can find it. Toyota doesnt require that tool anymore for dealers. we dont have it anymore.. if i find it i'll grab it

 

Colt cam is the one that has the LCE grinds. but im still wondering if i just use the camry cams i have. Part of the reason i want Tylers 5 lug is for testing

 

Otc wanted 500$ new for it last i looked.
