TJM might be close, but I wouldn't trust my life or the lives of my family to any other front bar.

That’s a bold claim. Others are working hard for that title.

I had a chance to look at the ARB bumper for the 3rd gens. I was not interested for a few reasons. It is huge. Really, its not ARBs fault, its due to mandatory pedestrian crumple zones AKA the huge front of the third gen "thanks government". They had to work around those and still be safe to their own standards. Next issue I had was that the bumper really restricts the ability to have 35s due to how far and low into the wheel well they go. Do i have 35s? No. But will I want them one day-Probably.

i think the 1st gen tacoma, 2nd gen and the LC have really great looking arb bumpers. The 3rd gen though? No.

    “Restricts ability to go 35’s”

Only you are restricting your use with an angle grinder for 2 minutes :)

Im saying Im not willing to pay 1600 dollars for a bumper that I would have to trim, to fit 35s. I do not mind trimming the fenders and cmc.

He gave details. Didn't list having to cut the bumper. Could have done it and not listed it in his write up.

Either way, you said not a 3rd gen. Just showing it can be done , if even needed.

@rodneyrdm did you have to cut the bumper to fit those ? If so, how much effort would you say there was ?

My original statement, if you had read it, stated that I had an issue with 3rd gen front bumper for this reason. He posted a 2nd gen in relation to my OP. Which is irrelevant to my original post. WHich is why I explained it wasn't a third gen.

find a picture of a 3rd gen on 35s with an arb bumper with the splash guards, and it will be relevant to my post.
