How hard are they to rebuild since it's an inline 6? I've been looking for an engine to rebuild.

Guess I'll stick to the small block v8.

My theory on why it hasn't been pulled yet is because it was only used on LC's, that one Lexus... and a forklift? - not much demand for it. I almost always see the 22RE/3VZ/2RZ/3RZ/5VZ/2UZ pulled 5 minutes after the loader puts the vehicle down.

 

dude. seriosuly. get a cheap ass honda 4 banger. its DOHC. its dead simple to work on. and you can probably find a buyer. Small blocks fun. but meh. honda engines are dirt cheap to rebuild and easy to learn

 

I'll probably stick to rebuilding a 350. They're common as weeds and it'll sell easily.

 

I have a 1.3l I4 in my Civic I can rebuild.

 

Plus it's possibly the best engine Toyota ever built for longevity, designed to run 1m miles and has set rebuild and refresh intervals. They don't break. It has 7 main bearings with 4 bolts each. This engine don't give a fuck, it just goes
