(2001 Tacoma 4x4 2.7ltr SR5) .I have a section of my drivers side front fender splash guard missing and wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to track this down. I included a picture of the passenger side one as well as the drivers side were it's missing. The circled area to the right side is the section I'm actually missing. It's the section that's kinda square in shape. Thanks for any input.IMG_3582.jpg IMG_3585.jpg

I also bought the splash shields from geartechcustoms.com
    Real quality product.

The OP however is looking for the hard plastic piece in front of the tire. A quick search on google turned up nothing. Maybe the dealer is the only place to get it, or junkyard.

Mine looks exactly like yours does in your second photo. When I bought my very clean, all stock used Tacoma, I thought I was missing this part as well. Then I looked at two other Tacomas and they were missing it as well. I left it at that and thought it never came with one.

OK thanks guys. I was involved in an accident on the front left side and thought I had lost it in the crash. Initially I blamed the body shop for forgetting to re-install it. They claimed nothing was ever their. I then checked my accident photo's and noticed that spot blank. I just figured something got knocked loose and fell out during the accident. I wasn't exactly sure what I lost, but just figured that spot looked like something was missing. Well if everyone else's Tacoma looks that same way, then that's good enough for me :)

Just went through this a couple of months ago on my '04 after a deer collision. At first I also thought the body shop missed it but after checking I found out that there never was a front splash shield on the drivers side. the one on the passenger side protects the washer fluid tank.

    Preciate' the support fellas!!

@Vann is right on the money, that's a passenger side only piece and shields the opening into the engine bay (for parts accessibility)

Thanks. I guess that explains why I don't have one.
