What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

man that looks great, i want to get one for my truck, will the DCSB work on a ACLB... i haven't measured so i have no idea and they don't really show if it'll work... if so, any link or info?

 

Prado 150 base into a Land Cruiser head. I am trying to see if I can fit a pre-filter on somewhere instead of the LC head. I really dislike the hair-dryer intake and yard of plastic on the side of the fender. The Prado base is a bit smaller and goes into the fender further back.

 

Same, trying to keep winter out of the airbox without liners is tricky around here.

 

I don’t have a link on mine since I got it at the local dealer since with shipping costs most online was basically the same price as my local dealer. There are two models and to My understanding it’s based on bed length so there is a 5 foot and 6 foot version. But this place has both so you can see it. It is louder and a bit deeper as well. That said this place is more expensive then my local dealer especially when you factor in shipping but it gives you the part number.

Just had a week of rain storms here. My intake box is bone dry.

 

Added some CF door pillars, already had the door handle pocket ones.
Definetly get better throttle response now....

 

Never used a Wilson fiber glass..... I have always been a fan of FireStik. They have always tuned good for me. The last Wilson antenna that I had was a 1000 which was a magnet mount and was amazing. The 102 whip can get a little tricky but as long as you get the one that drops into the mount and not the one you have to clip the tip they work pretty good.

Good to hear continued success with your home-made solution. You're still satisfied with how the Prado section fits to the fender? I also am thinking to mount it to my roof rack as I'm weirdly reluctant to drill into my A-pillar.

Wow! 800ish miles a day for 5 straight days sounds rough. I used to do 200 mi. twice a week for a few years, and that wore me out some days. Hope you have a co-pilot.
