My plan was to go the other way off the exit, towards Lake Kachess, and then turn left on FS 4934, to NF 126 and up to the top of Keechelus Ridge. It's over 5000ft up there but I don't think there is a lot of snow up there and should be attainable.

I’d like to see how it goes. As the 8th approaches I might see about getting another round of folks together.

I just got off the phone with the North Bend Ranger station, they will be open on Saturday at 8am FYI so you could pick one up there before we meet at 9.

I will have to check that one out for myself sometime. What type of trail is it? Mostly just flat FS road? Or any of crawling/climbing?

Mostly just forest roads. There are miles of roads out there aside from that particular road, it’s a cool area

Thanks. I’m just getting into navigating these FS trails. I may try this route out on the 8th if anyone wants to meet up for breakfast and join in for some Christmas trees?

I’ll be sure to report back on the conditions from this weekend, might be about the same when you go as next week is looking kind of dry

I was up there on Sunday, there was about 6-8 inches and the road was hard-packed. Must have melted off a bit earlier this week. Did you make it all the way to lonesome lake?

    Hey, Folks.

Are there any plans for weekends other than the group going this weekend? We have plans this weekend, but my daughter would like to get a small tree. I'm getting feedback that the 15th would be ideal. :D

Question on that, how hard would it be to get one with a root ball so that we could plant it? I'm guessing not much more work than an axe, shovel, some time, and a bag to contain it all.

Lol. It's to have the tunneau cover looked at before my warranty is up, so no biggie. Besides, been working weekends and holidays as of late. I need a sanity break. :smash:
