To each their own I much preffer the peace and quiet of the mtns or being at the beach. Being different is what makes this place interesting. I’m not so excited about city folks in the mtns though lol

That's me, all the time...where ever I go in this area. I think I am the only one of my friends who doesn't work for the Federal Government in one way or another.

It's amazing to me that I rode a motorcycle in New Orleans and then DC for as long as I did, considering that now going to Tysons terrifies me.

No i try to stay out of any city as much as possible. Usually I only have to worry about a swuirrel dripping an a orn on my head. Yes that has happenned

riding in FL sucked. It was flat with nothing to see except farms and golf courses. At least in the city you need to stay alive.

It would be better if you had a faster bike, and communication to see whats going on up front

 

Got my truck cap back on. Took way to long, but I'm glad it's done.
Does anyone in the community have a pneumatic rivet gun that can do 3/16 inch rivets?

 

I just did 3/16" rivets by hand. They were aluminum, so I'm sure steel will be a little harder. They shouldn't be that hard though.

 

These are aluminum too I believe. They are for riveting a rhino rack track to the top of the cap.
Which hand tool did you use?

Speaking of which... @3pooches here's one of those black squirrels I was talking about while we were heading to your place

 

I got a big problem with the new truck. Should’ve look at this before I bought. I can’t put my national park patch’s on my headliner.

 

We had a black squirrel near our house growing up. They are relatively rare from my understanding.

 

I see these things all the time in DC and Alexandra. From my understanding, they're the true "hood rats"

 

When I was living in Charleston, WV there were a whole shitload of these things living on the grounds of the state capitol. Never saw another one in the state. But you couldn't find a grey one at the Capitol.

 

I heard you gotta push and twist to get patches to stick to the 3rd Gen headliners.
