    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
The ham license book is floating around on the internet and so is the Ham for dummies which is a good primer if this is your first foray into radio. I'm studying/reading. looking forward to being able to Tx!

simplifying all this down to one radio... yes please!

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I (think) my Secret Santa stopped by yesterday. I had (2) "Mystery Packages" delivered to me and I can only think they were from my SS. No note or anything, but thanks for the kind gesture!!!

    a0xe0HROPMSqaIhQU9XDby6_bz35WExHOjgw2gyl_ac1350b23a1eddb30e5224b57a3e772834922588.jpg

The ratcheting wrenches will definitely be put to good use. Sadly, I can't wear the sunglasses since I wear eyeglasses all the time (I wear aviators that can fit over my eyeglasses). I will "Pay it forward" with the sunglasses and post them in the appropriate thread.

Thanks again, whoever you are, and Merry Christmas!!!

Wellllllll I am blown away! My Santa Clause definitely did his research I thought I was done with my custom patch and was stoked.... then this badass box of love came from Texas. I'm from there too so that was a very cool coincidence! Thank you good Sir very much for all the goodies! 1543610101031334770027278862223.jpg

so after spending some time searching, no luck finding my TWSS. Feel free to reveal yourself. I thank you very much for everything!

The few CA people active on the thread didnt come from the Crescent Valley area and my search of ppl in that area turned up empty.

any chance of it being @Cal1630 ???

First off thank you Juan Martinez! Never had a good set of camping blades and now I do! bud. I would’ve posted earlier but I had a business trip right after I got back from Thanksgiving.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised when a coworker informed me I had two Amazon packages sitting out in the warehouse with my name on them.

So, it looks like some more LED lighting to light up the night since I've gone 100% away from using propane lanterns. Also a 8'x10' tarp as well. These will go well with the collapsible trashcan.

Very cool and thanks goes out to my SS who shall still remain nameless it seems sense there was no indication as to who sent it other than saying "-Your TWSS" Merry Christmas and thanks to another year of TWSS!

So I stop at the beer store after work and end with a six of Zero Gravity from Vermont. Then I get home to find a package from......wait for it....VERMONT!
One thing from my extremely short wish list (I said I like surprises) and a couple of awesomely thoughtful surprises that will absolutely get used, along with a super kind note!
Thank you @88nitro305 I wish you and your family happy holidays and a fantastic year ahead!

Yeah pretty pumped to go camping now! I’ve never had a shovel, had to rely on my buddies if I needed one
