    Old mounts cut off, frame cleaned up. Kings are in my truck, going to swing by and pick up the parts to convert them to remote res here shortly.

    Boutta start making some progress ;)

    don't know yet, just going to depend on how the shock length/cycle forces them to land. Probably not that much angle though lol. The picture was also taken at an angle so it looks weird.

    Stuff and junk and things...
    If you french at least 50% of the shock body into the frame they will fit just fine. AND... probably not get any tires marks on them when you stuff a tire.

    ? The pivot need not move that far, but the shock body would for good droop clearance, no? (that's the case on the 3rd gen 4Runner - this can't be that different, right?)

    wait - I just noted "at least 50%". I wouldn't french anything that deep into something structural, if it were me.

    Well if it's welded up good and boxed on the other side of the frame it should be fine, also why not get shocks that run with the shaft on the top instead of the body of the shock on top. That way there is a lot more clearance for when the tire is flexed up?

    the shock body will be up there when compressed. (assuming it is attached to the axle) :)
