So will it only work while you have the momentary switch depressed then? Or does it go into that mode and stay there.

Surprised it works with the flat top. That is probably your problem is using the cast iron on a flat top.

I cook 99% in cast iron. I love it. I've had to restore and season all my pieces so I've got pride in the food that comes out of them. I've got this one stubborn 8" skillet that I cannot get to season well at all. I don't get it, I've tried like 10 different methods of seasoning. Stripping what I had previously done and starting over to get the initial seasoning and it just will not take it for some reason.

Try cooking bacon in it. While that is happening prejeat the iven to 400 once the bacon is cooked eat the bacon and with the hot pan and thongs paper towel in the thongs wipw the entire thing inside n out place in the oven. In 1 hour turn off the oven 3 hours take pan out and paper towel it.

Just do what I do, just like my SATs, just like every post, quote every third one with whatever you feel like saying at the time and then pay extra special attention to the last 4 or 5 and everyone will not even know you haven't been here.

Press the button and the light dims. Hold the button for 2 seconds and it strobes.

    Boom, simple terms.
