Lawton is a pretty Tacoma-friendly town! I rolled into town about 3pm on friday. Within 30 minutes of driving looking for my hotel then driving around looking for a place to eat, I had 3 Tacomas catch up to me and give me the thumbs up. My wife didnt understand it.

Took a ride thru the refuge and hiked a few trails. Saw some nicely setup overland/offroad rigs there. From there we went and did some light offroad trails up near Cooperton. More like ATV trails but nothing I needed 4wd for. Still a nice change of pace from out where I'm from.

    Hell yeah!!!

Just north of Mulberry, AR. Just a bunch of maintained dirt roads so nothing exciting just a couple mud puddles here and there. Got some major pinstriping on some of the unmaintained roads. Didn’t have much time to explore since I got there late.

This isn't what I'd call a trail. It's a road that leads to the top of the mountain where you can rent cabins and hike around. GREAT views from up there. White Rock Mountain should be on Google Maps

Anyone know of any trail near Wichita mountains or is it a no go with it being a refuge? I’m trying to get my moneys worth out of my RTT

I was just at the refuge last weekend. Was kinda disappointed. Theres barely a stitch of unpaved roads on the refuge. And camping from what I saw was limited to one area, Doris Campground. It's a pretty area, but I found it crowded and half of it is not even open to the public.

If I were you, and you just wanna explore some dirt and camp out, I'd go to Sandy Sanders WMA out there. I think you have to have a hunting license to be out there, but you dont have to hunt I dont suppose. They have some primative camping areas tho.

There’s a lot of forestry roads around white rock mountain! It’s an awesome place to explore!

Don’t let me fool ya. That’s when I first bought it and it was clean. Lol just did the first oil change that was not done by dealer. They want to charge me $700 to do a 90k miles inspection so I found their inspection criteria and I’m doing it myself.
