I purchased a 2019 Tacoma TRD OFFRD 4 x 4 DBL CAB LONG BED MSRP $43302 purchase price for $37083/ + TAX & LIC. Magnetic gray metallic with Technology and Premium package, running boards,all weather floor/door sill protector, door edge guard, Crome exhaust tip, mud guards, tie down loop,spare tire lock. This was in Southern California, the price includes $1500 cash Back from Toyota.

 

2019 Tacoma SR5 4x4 DCSB V6 AT - MSRP $ 35850. Visited a few dealerships, best deal I could find is purchase price at $31,400 +Tax/Lic (this included a 500 rebate). Is this a good deal? Thanks

Yeah I'm gonna say you're lying unless you provide proof other than "don't hate." New 4x4 TRD OR with tech and premium with tonneau and a few other add ons? That's over 40k MSRP. You didn't get it for 25% off

Offered for 35969.56 OTD I would be buying from out of state.

Not sure on after ttl but before it 31 happens. Before TTL mine was 31.5 but was a MT with tech package only. They do want to move the 18s off. Picked it up in CA since in AZ they want same or more for a MT

 

Did you pay taxes upfront or did you pay them once registered in AZ. I’m in AZ too

 

No taxes in Az. Az and a few states have agreement that they won’t double tax. So call the Az treasury to check if you do out of state because if that agreement isn’t there you can end up paying twice. If you ship it to your home then typically local taxes where you live, that shipment costs around 800-1k. So I don’t think it’s worth it. if you drive it you typically pay taxes where the car is, which is what I did and then had a road trip and stoped off on the way home for fun and visited family. I say typically because I’ve seen and heard some people getting around it without paying taxes either. That said I don’t care to be in that position or try and game the tax man. As for License you just get a temp license which is 10-60$ depending on state and get it setup in your state and pay that there. When I looked freeman in Santa Rosa had the best price so I used airline miles to fly over and we did some tourist stuff in the red woods then hit San Fran for lunch then down to marina Del Mar to see family and then next day we came home. Fun drive. That said my price wasn’t unique, a friend just did the E price on a 2019 OR MT with the same tech gear although I think it might be standard now for basically the same price before any haggling. I’m interested to see his deal as I didnt haggle that much. Not sure on the AT models. If you want to just go in state then ernhart had the best price but it was still 3-4K more

 

The truck you claim you bought is 36.5 before dest. With dest and the aftermarket leather seats it would be at least 38.5k. Add taxes and title of at least 2500 puts the truck at 41k before dealer discount and any corp incentives.

I’m pretty sure nobody believes you paid 31k out the door for that truck new.

Does 35,461$+TTL sound good for a 4x4 OR DCSB?? Just left dealer.. seriously contiplating trading my 2012 in.. I almost pulled the trigger.. In also noticed a ‘pre delivery service charge’ of 999$ Looks like they are trying to sneak a dealer fee in there.. Toyota already has one on the sticker for 995$.. hmmmm

AT or MT? Its not bad if AT. I do think you might be able to haggle them a bit or try and get some friendly dealer competition going. Just my .02c. What’s the breakdown on the price they are giving you?

 

AT and that’s with my trade negotiated at 2012 $17k TRD sport dbcb prerunner AT w 80k.. .. it’s listed at 38,228 with $2,766 off i think there should be more wiggle room.. 7% off MSRP

 

Lastest offer I had was 32500 before taxes etc. for a DCOR without any extras. I didn’t buy because of the low all trade.
