    Wix and toyota filters are bout neck and neck quality wise. at least the ones ive cut open. (i do things when get bored)

    Anyone run the Mobil1 filters for more than one oil change? They say they're good for 20k mile intervals but I don't know if that's actually recommended

    Tbh idk what happens to the filters I take off. I usally leave them on the drain bowl then after awhile it just disappears.

    i mean you could probably get away with it. i run toyota filters for 20k on my corolla with mobil one extended... but oil filter is kinda insurance for your engine.. best to replace every oil change

    Themral trap the area then run your torch over it to heat up the area and relaz it...

    Wix filters are generally pretty good or was. Been using Wix brand stuff in my cars since the late 90s. Not sure if they still are but I still use their fuel filters.

    Yeah I usually do...last time though I didn't and its been sort of eating at me lol. I change my oil every 4 - 5k with Penzoil full synthetic, probably earlier than most do on synthetic but with the blower I notice my oil getting pretty damn dark right around 4k miles.
