We did the same thing except before bed and after waking up. My wife didnt feel comfortable running the propane heater all night. We did crack both windows about 4-6" for condensation and fresh air.

Awesome, I had mine hooked up to a small propane tank (old pancake style, maybe 5lbs). Worked nicely for us. I would love to make it out to Oregon sometime, do you have an IG so I can follow the trip?

Also, disclaimer that I dont do IG to be famous but to hopefully inspire others to get outdoors and to inspire myself by following others trips. I dont post a ton of content and I am not good with content but I like to show whats out there when I actually get to go.

My cabin is about 30min from Tray. Would love to join that ride if possible! The forest service site says it is still closed, but the road closed signs are no longer there and people keep going on it. I was on it alone around Aug going down Chimney like a dumbass.

We've put lighting redesign off till January. Which means hopefully a February release. We think lighting is really important and plan to come out with something really amazing in terms of ambiance and utility. We didn't do it right the first time so the second round needs to be perfect :) When we do release it, it won't be a difficult install.

As for the racks, we did get the new extrusion design in for them. We'll be testing a few models out in Baja this December, with a planned release date in late January if all goes well with testing. Expect to see some teaser photos from Mexico around Christmas time.

Are you still working on the tent locking solution? My camper is close to start of production and I really need a way to lock the tent close.

You could drill a hole through the sliding latch and housing and put a padlock through.

Good notes and thoughts man. Appreciate it.

Looks like I’ll have some sunshine this weekend. Need to get out with the color samples and make the decision.

Have you done anything specific to prep for the GFC getting mounted?

That’s a great shot! I don’t wheel quite that hard, but love the trucks capability on fast dirt roads and through windy roads. Truck never stops impressing!

    Colors are a tough decision!

From what I’ve seen black and grey both looks nice on black trucks. Can’t go wrong either way.

Any Inferno Taco owners on this thread? I’m thinking a black GFC might be the best color match. What say you?

Wooohoooo! Another Colorado owner! Grab the bed rail stake hole covers off Amazon for $20ish so the camper seal sits flush all the way back.

Yeah there is a bit of prep. This is what I bought to make everything plug and play for ZR2:
CravenSpeed Stubby Jr Antenna Replacement for The Chevy Colorado 2015-2018 | 2 inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TREJZK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i9FaCbJ1ND7WJ
ES ENGINEERED BY SCHILDMEIER Stake Pocket Cover Set for 2015-2018 GM Colorado or Canyon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076Z6D3YJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_49FaCbPSWVTB1
CURT 55384 Custom Wiring Connector https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009FJ38Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_G9FaCbSEEGGAZ
    CURT 58030 4-Way Flat Connector Plug https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GN3BSI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_H8FaCbHJXRZJV
Antenna is for clearance at the top. The stake covers make the seal 100% sealable. And the trailer harness T allows you to connect up the 3rd brake light. You just need crimps and a wire crimp/stripper tool. Strip the 4 way plug ends for 12V (white wire) and brake light (brown wire) and use crimps to connect the 3rd brake light. Nice thing is it’s non intrusive to the wiring harness and you can unplug the cap from wiring if you need to remove it.

As for colors. They delivered the grey to me when I asked for black but while I was there figuring out a solution I was able to see the grey next to the green. I personally don’t think it’s a good match. The black goes together best hands down.

If you zoom in on my avatar photo it’s at silver lake dunes with about 3-4 ft of air. Was impressed with fast sand performance too. Rear springs are bouncy when you land hard though, so planning on replacing overload springs with deaver mini pack. Should make the GFC handle great back there.

@I_eat_tacos Elise messaged me earlier this week saying they shipped me a Colorado wiring harness. I've not received it yet so I'm not sure if those Curt items are still required, but I'll probably still try to tap into the Curt harness to leave the stock wiring alone. Thanks again for the tip on that!
