Well I ordered them while on deployment at the beginning of this month but they didn't end up shipping till the 8th. The kit also came in series of about 5 different boxes all arriving at different times over the next week and a half. Just a heads up, if you ordered 6112 they might be sold out and waiting for another shipment. Low range called me when I got back and said that they had one set left in stock which was mine:bananadance:

Majority of people do not add a spacer on the passenger side. Most people only add a spacer usually a 1/4” on the driver side to fix “bro lean” the driver side usually sits a bit lower by 1/2” or so because of the gas tank and battery is on that side. This is the reason why your passenger side is higher by an inch.

I would skip the diff drop. Though I have not personally run one, everything I have read about them is not positive. I am running a similar setup to yours, except I have Camburg UCAs. With close to 100K miles on the lift, my CVs are fine. Yes, the boots show some excessive wear where they rub, but that is it.

So you're running the 6112 on the max lift setting and you've got a 3/4" spacer on both sides?

Yeah man, way too much going on there. Need to size down the spacers or remove them entirely. You're going to be doing yourself more harm than good in the long run with CV wear. Others will chime in behind me with more experience, but you're not going to get out of chopping and beating metal if you want 33" + size tires. Extra lift isn't going to help you much, only cutting will. Diff drops don't really help on these trucks so you're kind of spinning your wheels there.

Anyone have a profile pic of a 3rd Gen with the front at 4/5 and an HS or Icon 3 leaf AAL with or without the overload installed?

I currently have an OME kit with 888 coils with the medium Dakar pack but don’t like the big rake. Hoping if I go 6112/5160 at the 5/6th notch while keeping my Dakar pack will give me a leveled look. Anyone able to achieve this or have this set up that can provide insight? Thx!

Just so people who read this don’t get confused, you can most definitely fit 33’s without major alterations. All of those tall skinny tires that fit on OR stock suspension are 33’s. There are a couple very long threads about that setup if people are interested.

The issue that people will have is fitting wide 33’s that they see in full-sized trucks. The width is what causes the problem for the UCA’s and cab mounts. Once you start going 275+ is when you’re going to start cutting, but there are 33”s that are less than 275 wide.

Ask and you shall receive. 6112 4/5 with 3 leaf all with overload out. Running 255/85r16 33” tire. Old pic before I raised her up.

You’re absolutely right! He mentioned he wanted 33”s that were over 12” wide though so he’s got some metal that’s about to get chopped on.

So I assume with the overload in the back end would be much higher. Are you level or is there a rake?

That was a little less than an 1” of rake.

Installed yesterday myself (probably won’t do that again) using the “no spring compressor” method. Wasn’t sketchy at all. Very easy to do. The rear was a damn pain in the ass putting in the AAL. I thought it would be easy to add the AAL without removing the stock pack. It wasn’t, but I eventually got it done. It would have been very easy if I was taking the overload out.

Set at 6/5 with the overload in. Still 1” of rake thank God. Drove it a little afterwards and there’s no vibes or anything. Drives great. Getting alignment today.

Numbers. First measurement is ground to fender, second is hub to fender.
    upload_2018-12-2_9-38-27.jpg

Note the initial measurements were with stock tires and post lift I had 265/75 tires. So I got right around 2” in the front give or take.

6112/5160 with wheelers 3 AAL, no overload. Settings #5 and #4. Didn’t take the time for lift measurements. 1inch rake with ARE truck cap.

Kind of off topic but did you guys have to readjust the headlights after your lifts? It seems it would enter the direct field of vision for opposing drivers afterward. Thanks.
