    Hey guys, I made a new thread because the other thread OP wasn't updating it.
    I copied his but made a few changes.
    I googled for the most badass versions of the bumpers in my opinion with similar angles so they are better compared, unless i couldn't find them.
    Let me know which bumpers I am missing.
    I'll add options if I have time.

    Just FYi, the TJM website never seems to function for me. For a month I have been trying off an on the reach someonemfor remote possibikity I could actual find out if a US distributor actually has one of these bumpers. Their capcha "not a robot" process just cycles and cycles with no end.

    Besides adding a ton of weight to the front end and some extra lighting / winch mount, am I the only one who thinks the majority of those bumpers are a bit excessive???

    p.s I'm probably going to get the SSO slimline hybrid bumper myself since it mostly retains the factory look and gives me a front winch mount

    A lot of people want off-road bumpers so their bumper won’t get torn off when off-roading. These plastic bumpers will come off if a rock or a tree even looks at it the wrong way on a trail

    SSO made a really nice high clearance add on for their T4R slimline. If they put one out for the taco I'd be so I terested.

    Do you have a proposal for how to replace all the plastic bumper components and not be excessive?

    The SSO (a long with all the other manufactures who make a similar slimline style bumper) are nice for what they are. They are essentially an integrated winch mount. However, they are not bumper replacements.

    If you need/want a bumper replacement, then no, I don’t think any of these are excessive.

    I do think the Mobtown Offroad bumper looks the best though :D

    As an fyi @Dissent86 posted prices a little earlier. Starting at 1475 for aluminum and 1100 for steel. The aluminum bumper starts at 44lbs.

    Most of these replace the whole number while not being excessive. The ones from Adictive Desert Designs, CBI Offroad, Dissent Offroad, and Victory 4x4 do it and look fantastic.

    As far as excessive I'd say the ones from Expedition 1 and Fab Fours are exactly that. Those are some MASSIVE pieces of steel to put on such a small truck.
