    ok, I am ready to pull the trigger on the hs 5100/885 with dakars setup.
    also going to do the ride rite airbags for when I pull the bike trailer.
    I already have the sso sliders which weigh a bit. not in the front bumper market either.
    I am looking at 255/80/17 in maybe the wildpeaks.
    anybody close to this setup and have suggestions on rims/wheels?
    @Chasespeed ???

    In this case, the issues arise from initial planning and build of plant, then, cobboing together additional equipment.. and then 20 years of band-aids instead of proper repairs.

    Me? Stock OR, and will be getting the tires mounted sunday.

    In this application, I have no experience with the 5100s. However, in previous applications, I have had good luck the 5100s.

    After my Jeep, I am trying REALLY hard to not cut, modify, etc....

    I am happy with the truck overall.
    Biggest thing for me to solve at this point, is a few functionality issues... stick with my cheap roll up, or a softtopper, or hard shell, and appropriate bed and cab rack(pipe, lumber, canoe, kayak, etc)......

    Got all winter to sort it out.
    But, the stock tires suck. Terrible. Dirt driveway, needed to engage 4hi to get out of the drive.

    Well it's time. Dakar packs. I'll rip them apart in the spring. But for now what's the best bandaid ? Litium spray the bushings and in between the leafs? Put a needle on the grease gun and put red and tacky everywhere I can fit into ?

    Subarus are the same--I think it's potentially a good thing, longer battery life.

    I think you can disable TPMS with ForScan. If I remember right, someone figured out that disabling the tire pressure menu option also prevents the light from showing up.

    I need this too maybe in the spring.
    Mine used to squeak then I did AAL and fluid film twice.
    This was in September though, AOAA gave it a good workout along with some long road trips and minor wheeling.
