Do I necessarily need add UCA?

I am going to purchase 5100's and i was wondering if i need to get UCAS also?

 

You don't "need" UCA's but would help getting your truck aligned closer to the desired specs.

You don't "need" them since they only crank up to 2.5 inches, but like 1337taco said they would help with alignment. Rule of thumb is 3'' or higher they're a good idea.

For off roading go with a uniball uca.

For alignment go with Light Racing UCAs.

Not all Uniball UCAs are built the same - make sure they correct the caster otherwise they help allowing full travel but will not correct the caster change.

 

You want more caster for lifted applications & ALL aftermarket arms allow for this so your truck will drive better. Toe & camber should remain within factory spec since that is what affects tire wear. Positive caster is a good thing when your lifted so your truck will track straighter. If you feel like your truck is all over the road or you can't get it to align, then you might need new UCAs.
