No. Just say no to tofu. Actually tofu is right up there at the top with steak at 6.6 mg. of iron. But beef jerky made with lean muscle meat is only 1.1 mg. I just picked up 6 pounds of lean beef to make jerky. And Pork chops, the other white meat.

IIRC the doctor said to "try" and avoid red meat. I walked by the steaks at Costco this morning but it wasn't easy. Not so sure the "try" part will be so strong next time...

More than 30 days straight without getting above freezing. Snowing and sleeting now at 32°. Snow until 7 AM in the morning. Then warming up to 34° and snow, sleet and rain until 6 PM tomorrow. Bottom falls out after that and into single digits. That is exactly how I ended up with about 4" of ice in the driveway a few years ago. Oh joy, can't wait. Yes I can.

I have found some solace in chicken. I think I eat more of that anymore than beef. I do eat a good amount of pork though too. Not sure what my iron level is but it has never been an issue....tofu isn't good for anything. I think the "grazers" eat it just to gross out carnivores...

I'm not against it but if the damn things are there I'd like them to work. I found one of my tires was only at 20 psi so I don't know if that didn't allow that sensor to reset since it already had a fault or not (low pressure). According to the reset proceedures I'm supposed to drive it for 15 minutes above 15 mph (or something like that)... I'll have to do that later. I gotta go to town this afternoon so if it doesn't reset by the time I get there I'll take it straight to the tire shop and let them do whatever they do to fix it.

I'm with you on the TPMS , if a vehicle is supposed to have them then they should work as designed . Also if a shop has to remount tires with TPMS then they better get them working correctly

A couple years ago I brought my truck to a Discount Tire store for a alignment . Once I got my truck back there was grease hand print stains all over the paint a d on the drivers inner door panel

Also when I drove my truck home I noticed they never reset the steering wheel back to center . I headed back to the tire store and complained and they tried using wet paper towels to clean the grease stains . They also said they couldn't re center the wheel ......WTF !!!!!

few days later I went to a Goodyear and had the alignment done and they had no problems

It's mainly because I air down to 18psi offroad and I have ripped off stems. Damn TPMS sensor was in the tire for a while.

    I use a pressure gauge

    Weird, huh?

Pioneer Super Tuner is still the best radio for reception in a vehicle from what I have seen. Been wanting to do that to mine ever since I got it, did it to my last vehicle. But need to replace the damn antenna that is some place down Stony River Loop Road in Lake County, Mn. first.

Super Tuner 3 is now 3d for digital also.
