I went to the entrance of the Hell's Gate and looked at it, at first I was like - "I've seen how to do it many times, I will be fine!", but then after walking and taking a closer look I was like "I have not seen any people in the past 5 hours, and I have no spotter, maybe next time?".

Also there is a bit of a mix when it comes to those trails, there are two climbs on the Hells Revenge trail, the one that KIA, Tundra etc did for commercials is called "Escalator" and then there is Hell's Gate which is similar, but to access it you have to go thru some steep downhill and bash sliders very hard, picture below of the road that leads to start

I did the "Tip Over Challenge" where I almost flipped my truck and got steering locked - I couldn't steer in other direction as you can see on the picture, lot's of sweating:help:

Oh yes! Truck is only 10 months old and already has 40,000 kilometres, been on many "iconic" trails and more to come! Let's see how long this drivetrain will last with all the abuse I give it.

Thanks! I was at 20psi all day. What I found interesting is that having soft tire compound (aka P rated) is beneficial on those kind of rocks so they can actually grip vs slip like Ko2s, Coopers Maxx or any tire that has hard rubber compound. Same thing was happening with me, while 3 Nokians were always in control the E rated Kelly tire (same tire profile, but way harder tire compound) tended to slip more often, but thanks to ATRAC that tire had breaks applied to decrease slippage. The more you know! :gossip:

After sandblasting my frame in Mojave desert it is time to cover it in a salt and let the rust process begin :annoyed:

    :cookiemonster:

Well its the weekend so of course I cant help myself.

    :bananadance:

So pretty  The snow is so heavy right now, it is weighing down the small tree's. We had to turn around on 1 trail because it was as far down as you could see with folded over tree's all the way across the trail

These Nokian Hakkapeliittas R2's become unbelievable when you drop to 15 psi:mudding:

We saw 1 OPP truck on the unmaintained fire road we access trails off of today, he was writing some snow machines tickets it appeared as we passed.

Out of curiosity, what is everyone's setup when it comes to front suspension downtravel limit? Any bumpstops or straps?
I have a bumpstop that was added as part of my lift kit. It worked with the stock UCA but since I have upgraded to TC, noticed the other day, it now sits too low and needs to be modified. What's happening is that it droops all the way down and hits the coil. I also removed the sway bar which I think was the limiting factor for down travel? Thoughts?

    Sway bar will limit travel

You shouldn't need limit straps with stock LCA it's only once you switch you need them

Just make a spacer for the bump. I may have some spacers for you.

I have upgraded bumps right now. Limits my uptravel to help with clearancing. I kept the sway bar because it also helps with clearance.

And driving with no sway bar with your weight would get sketchy .

I'm thinking of doing no sway bar on trail and keeping it otherwise. It's really not much to remove

Think the weight of my coils would be fine since my weight is mainly down low now. With the rtt it may change. At the end of the day I am cheating using the sway bar to help with the tire clearance.

I have a Navi unit for sale if anyone is interested.
Comes with GPS antenna, radio antenna adapter (if you have an older Taco, like mine), and reverse camera bypass for display instead of on mirror.

It's not that bad as people think. There is a bit more lean when turning but you get used to it. I don't drive the truck like a sports car so not worried.
