Hard to tell without seeing it, seriously. If its duct gauge that's pretty thin stuff. May be better off fabbing an entire new rear gate system and tossing the old, depending on if you want fold down or swing out Could beef up corners with some channel or unistrut, and bolt it all together. They do make 4' drawer slides or just about any length, that hold up to 150 lbs or so, seen many builds with long drawers made of ply loaded for the long haul that worked great. Just a matter of design, and what you want. Lots of youtube vids on builds to get the creative constipation moving, to stay close to topic.

Those are some good looking joints and boxes. Birch? Sounds like Pete and natu_nati need to get together to design and new wood swing out for the trailer...

    Those joints are real purty.

I'm fine with a whole new back side or whatever works. I was thinking of taking the entire top off and getting the back figured out before just welding/bolting a new stationary top on afterwards. I'm not married to the swing-out idea. A tailgate style would be just as effective. I just don't know who to take it to or what to tell them I want exactly. I'm not engineering-minded enough to trust that I can do this myself, so I don't mind paying for it to get done. I just need to know where to start.

https://www.rockler.com/hardware/drawer-slides/cabinet-drawer-slides There's longer slides available, and lot's of builds on here to get ideas from. Pretty easy to make - drawers are just boxes inside a bigger box. You can also use synthetic strips to reduce friction and eliminate the slides altogether. Here's a pic of what's in the back of my truck...

    Yeah.
@natural_nativ if you go with a drop down/slide out thing, you have to be conscious of weight. If not attached to your truck, I can see that thing tipping over backward when you slide a loaded drawer out. You'd have to support the rear of the trailer somehow. Cool setup though!

Yeah, I've had to consider that already with the RTT on top. The majority of the weight sits in front of the tire. I'm going to have to change up the bars on the top to run perpendicular to what they do now because I can't have the tent opening to the back if I'm going to be using that area. I'll probably get a couple of trailer supports to put on the back like the one on the front.

I'll have to check and see how the rear is attached at the corners.

FYI- Bobbie at CruiserCo in Little Rock is offering a cost plus shipping on ARB products. He posted on ih8mud and so far has 6 orders...if you're in the market for bumpers, lights, anything ARB, should check it out and give him a shout.

EDIT: Cost plus 7% on entire order and he's paying half shipping:

    Yeah.
Agree there were some poor/missed calls, but some on both sides. Cowboys just played at the top of their game, including coaching. Otherwise I think it would have been another Saints blowout.

Man, was just looking at those bumpers (based on the thread that guy started about hating his ARB experience). While maybe not the coolest looking bumper, I like the engineering behind it. Just too heavy until I have to upgrade my suspension. And, well, I don't really NEED a new bumper.

    Yeah.
Quite the light show up here in NWA tonight -- doesn't look like much at all on radar, but wow. Wish I was in my RTT in the woods . . .
