Yeah it comes off the harness with the ac compressor sensor.

I always forget just how much I love the cruiser until I drive it around town. It's one of those things where you just have to feel it to appreciate it. At least drive train wise, suspension wise it could use some work haha.

I found the sensor, but I don’t see anywhere a model number would be.

 

"CHAINS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL VEHICLES EXCEPT 4-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLES WITH SNOW
TIRES ON ALL 4 WHEELS" on Highway 80 up to Lake Tahoe.

Does it strictly have to be Snow tires, or would I get away with the KO2's? Or should I use chains anyway?

Yeah - I don't think there's a sticker on it or anything. It's just a metal collar with the sensor and wire pigtail. No markings.

 

Hmm. The way "4-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLES WITH SNOW TIRES ON ALL 4 WHEELS" is worded makes it seem like it is required to have 4WD AND Snow tires to be exempt from chains.
