So far on the street I am very satisfied. I was a bit worried about going with 700 pound springs and the Dakar HD’s but I love the ride. Also removed the sway bar and the truck drives fine w/o it. Can’t wait to test out the upgrades off road. Thanks @HeadStrong Off-Road for all your help!

Thanks brother. I do love the Maxx’s and have no complaints but I really want to try Toyo MT’s next.

Very true but the Maxx’s are 59 pounds and I think the Toyo’s are 61. Both are definitely not lightweights. Running 255/85/16 makes the Maxx’s feel a little lighter as far as drivability.

Oh dang. I did not know the Maxx’s Weighed that much. I recently switched over to 17” wheels and getting the Hankook Dynapro ATM because my truck is also my daily. Those weigh 39lbs

Price of load E tires. Definitely more choices in the 17’s that are load C which are significantly lighter.

Yeah man I love my Maxx and about to get another set. Hope to get the ADS fronts sometime this year as well. 255/80/17 here and it helps with the rolling resistance and the weight of them for sure.

I stand corrected. They came installed in the shock already. Hope they are right

Here is something you guys may be able to answer. The other day I’m backing into my driveway and I am turning the steering wheel about 85-90% to the left and just when I began to back in i here a pop sound and feel the sound in the steering wheel. I hear this at times when pulling in and out of inclines while turning. What the heck could it be? It’s got me slightly concerned but I am wondering if it is the coil popping as it turn in the strut (if that’s even possible)

    Thoughts?

    Whole lotta stuff
Like @dtaco06 said, might be rubbing. Worst case scenario besides CVs could be tie-rods binding, which would explain popping while turning under articulation.

That’s the thing, I’m only running 265/75/16 right now. I KNOW it’s not rubbing. It’s definitly metallic in nature
